In addition to our original, unique Skidabrader and patented abrading technology, Skidabrader Group offers state-of-the-art Ultra High- and Low-Pressure Water Blasting. The truck-mounted UHP equipment is highway-legal and can mobilize to perform rubber and stripe removal on runways; it also removes coatings and cleans bitumen from road surfaces. Our large shot blasting equipment can process up to 12,000 square feet per hour and is the most powerful machine available. These specialized machines are today’s most advanced, powerful, productive, and economical method available to solve friction and ghost striping applications.

Skidabrader Group, LLC, serves airport and highway engineers with the most
technologically advanced equipment. The largest fleet in the world, with 1,000-
Horsepower, high-velocity, bidirectional abrasive blasting machines can quickly and
economically transform slick pavement into pavement that resists skidding and
hydroplaning. Skidabrader technology will improve and extend the surface’s life, and, more importantly, significantly reduce accidents.
Advanced Surface Technology
NASA has hired Skidabrader, after extensive research, to retexture its runways at
Florida Runway for the Space Shuttle. Two machines completed the 15,000 x 300 ft. wide runway to specifications in just eight working days. In addition, Skidabrader has successfully retextured millions of square yards of interstate highway pavement in Louisiana, California, Texas, Kentucky, Maryland, and many other states.
