Location: Ft. Worth Texas

Compensation:

Base salary: negotiable 90-110K with full package benefits. Immediate availability preferred.

Summary:  Skidabrader Group LLC (Bard Capital portfolio company) is looking to hire an experienced Project Scheduler with capacity planning background to work alongside COO in our new Headquarters located in Fort Worth, TX. As a Project Scheduler you will be an important element in project execution and dispatching crews and machines in an efficient manner that ensures timely execution. Utilization reviews and proactive forecasts and capacity management will provide value added input for the organization.  You will be managing scheduling and dispatch of crews and equipment for running projects in aligns with customer project management for job site requirements. You will be able to collaborate with others to manage forecasted pipeline capacity planning and review and provide feedback to finance, management and stakeholders. Ability to use modern ERP software and recommend smart KPIs for project performance dashboards. 

Experience:

  • Minimum 3-year scheduling and dispatch experience required.

  • Experience with forecasting of capacity utilization

  • Experience using NetSuite (Preferred)

  • Able to create a detailed project task plan

  • Experience with utilizing technology (Mobile apps, Business Intelligence (BI) Tools, advanced Excel skills

  • Ability to communicate with back office and field crews

  • Ability to work with cross-functional team members in remote locations

  • Understanding of KPIs, able to recommend baseline productivity metrics

  • Earned value principles analysis (bonus)

  • PMI-SP – PMI Scheduling Professional Preferred

  • Schedule crews and equipment for backlog projects.

  • Review budgeted assumptions and deploy most efficient solutions for project execution.

  • Create project schedules and manage crew and machine dispatch.

  • Monitor and analyze project progress, track and report performance and productivity metrics

  • Recommend WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) changes for more clear tracking

  • Maintain project risk register to ensure risks are effectively managed - minimize impact on schedule, scope and project budgets.

  • Assist COO in tracking baselines, perform what-if analysis and develop contingency planning.

  • Plan capacity utilization based on sales pipeline and management input for both staff and machines

  • Maintain and report with Master Plan schedule.

  • Utilize and maintain company analytic dashboard, assist COO and project management in tracking and project analysis

  • Partners with HR and COO to ensure full operationalization

  • Troubleshoot and monitor potential scheduling conflicts

  • Maintain accurate records

  • Fleet Maintenance cycles and machine availability

  • Machine operator certification and development

  • Develops detailed analysis around variances to plan and leverages information to improve future projects and estimating process.

  • Acts as internal consultant for operations on analytical needs.

  • Leads ad hoc analysis and presentation to company management and portfolio group managers.
